The CIVIL WILDERNESS rule „Do not enter this area. Do not disturb.“,  („No Humans!“) meets the „Stay unfinished“ concept of the STADTWERKSTATT Linz for 48 hours. The CIVIL WILDERNESS area is claimed  next to Nibelungenbrücke, and ARS ELECTRONICA center, where a European flag and an Upper Austria flag are run up daily. The flagpoles are set in close proximity, almost at the border of the STADTWERKSADT’s premises at the Danube river bank, Donaulände. The situation is loaded just as heavily with historical layers as with currently tightened regulations in several aspects. CIVIL WILDERNESS’s rule in this area installs severe restrictions, the spatial limitations are not marked.
