CIVIL WILDERNESS # 2 is congruent with the fenced area in front of the old restaurant, Pukki of Korkeasaari Zoo. The grass is short and dense, as it serves as pasturage for massive numbers of Barnacle geese, that conquered the zoo as new habitat, whereas the naturalist bronze sculpture of a goat at the center of the CIVIL WILDERNESS area # 2 predominantly serves male peacocks as a rest and viewing point. Outside the low-slung fence the visitors are frequent and noisy. On a regular basis the goose can be observed attacking children that pass by in too short a distance or even try to feed the wild birds. Danger and prohibition signs refer to these types of accidents.
